Last May we announced our white paper about the ways in which other stakeholders had confused
the relationship between records access and consumer identity theft. We made this announcement at
the Presidents Meeting at the annual conference of the National Genealogical Society. NGS President
Jan Alpert spoke about how our white paper finally made the issues clear to her. It was very well received.
